Control Panel
Controls are conveniently located on an articulating console on the front of the machine. The interface buttons allow the operator to manually control all machine functions including emergency stops.

Adjustable Canted Head
The machine is capable of cutting with the saw head at 90° or with a 3° cant. The "NEW" Quick Change Column is standard.
 |
|
Mitering Capability
The New VW-18 Series II can miter 60° left and right. The machine has a manually positioned "Easy Swing" head frame. Precise positioning from 60° left to 60° right with easy to read angle scale, with stops at 60°.
 |

Blade Drive
5 hp motor controlled by an AC inverter drive is coupled directly to the Heavy Duty Gear box. Provides a wide range of blade speeds with minimal maintenance.

A High Speed Rotary encoder on a rack constantly monitors the angle position of the head, providing a high speed input for the head 90° reset.

In feed System Lifts Up
The feed table lifts the material up and away from the saw datum vise. This allows you to feed banded material through the vise automatically. Shuttle datum vise retracts on return.

Hydraulic Guide Arm
The hydraulically powered guide arm moves along two linear bearings, providing easy adjustment for proper guide arm spacing. In the automatic cycle, the guide arm automatically adjusts to the material height when mitering.

Mitsubishi PLC
Up to 999 different jobs can be entered into the PLC memory and can be called up and performed any time. The job queue function allows 20 jobs to be run automatically and consecutively for a single work piece or bundle.
